Loving Father I thank You that I am Your child and I want to press on, in my Christian life, to become more and more like the Lord Jesus – but I know that it will require me to put my hand to the plow and press on with patient endurance – which only comes from You alone. I pray that I may not lose heart or grow weary in doing the good works that You have prepared for me to do, and pray that in due time, I may reap a fruitful reward, in Jesus name I pray, AMEN.
Let us always trust in the Lord with all our heart and do not lean on our own understanding, knowing that without faith it is impossible to please Him. But let us never forget that it is God Who said, I AM everything you need – and I AM a Rewarder of those that diligently seek. Let us always believe it with all our heart – for this is well-pleasing to the Lord.
Father I realize how quickly and easily I can move from trusting You to doubting Your Word, when things do not go the way that I expect. I pray that like Abraham and the men and women of faith in Hebrews, my trust in You will not falter and continue to grow. Help me to earnestly seek You day by day, for I know that only as Christ lives in and through me, by faith, can I be pleasing in Your sight – in Jesus name I pray, AMEN.
Thank you God for your love that is beyond my ability to really understand. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be yours and to have the promise of eternal life with you when I leave this earth. Make your love so real in my heart that I will love others as you love me. Help me open my heart to your Spirit so he can mold me to be more like you every day. Use me to help others be strong as they seek to overcome sin and live for you. Empower each of us to win each battle against evil every day as we put you first in all things. I pray in the name of Jesus.
This is by far the BEST Warning label I have ever seen!
Have you ever thought about how our words impact others especially on social media. Words will make or break every relationship that we have. Our words will either draw people to us (kindness), or they will push people away (harsh).
Words, written or spoken, carry great deal of weight in our lives. Even if you need to speak words of correction to someone you can season those words with salt. That just means we can frame our words in such a way that even though they are corrective, they can be easily swallowed, or heard.
I don’t know about you, but I want my words to always be filled with generous amounts of God’s grace, and seasoned with heavenly inspired salt.
“Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouths, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.” Ephesians 4:29
“Father, I can clearly see how important my words are. Help me today to guard my words and only use words that build up the people in my world. May my words, whether spoken or written, be with grace and seasoned with salt. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.”
Lord, Give me the strength to not only confess that before anyone who asks, but to live in such a way that they ask me about my hope and my confidence and my salvation. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray. Amen
